Only 10 minutes from Shannon Airport, in a rural setting of 7 acres of woodlands, gardens and pastures overlooking the Shannon and Fergus Estuaries. Carrygerry Country House Hotel was built in 1793 as the residence and estate of a magistrate of Ennis assizes. A succession of 'Gentlemen Farmers' worked the many hundreds of acres of farmland surrounding the house until 1988 when it was sensitively restored and refurbished in the traditional country style with all the modern comforts associated with country house hotels, including haute cuisine, conservatory and restaurant. Currently the House is offering Luxury Bedroom and cuisine prepared to the highest standard. This hotel was recommended in Georgina Campbell's Jameson Guide 2004.

There are 12 bedrooms, spacious and elegantly decorated, en-suite and kept in period style, some with four-poster beds. With all the comforts and standards of a Grade "A" Hotel, all rooms have direct dial phone, TV with multi-channel, tea/coffee tray.

Sumptuous Farm breakfasts, either full Irish Style or extensive Continental, both served with homemade jams, preserves and traditional brown bread.
The Conservatory Restaurant overlooks the gardens and the award-winning Chef offers a varied menu based on local ingredients, excellent fish & meats, with an interesting wine list. Sample dishes include Oak smoked Salmon platter, Pan-fried Fillet of Turbot, Steamed Sea Bass, Medallions of Beef Fillet with Buttered Spinach, Leek and Wild Mushroom Risotto, Warm Plum Pudding, Platter of Irish Cheeses ....

Only 10 minutes drive from Shannon Airport, on the old Newmarket-on-Fergus road. Halfway between Limerick and Ennis.
From Limerick & Galway head directly toward Shannon Airport. At the large Shannon roundabout take the fourth exit (marked Newmarket-on-Fergus guesthouses). You will approach another roundabout. Take the second exit marked CarryGerry Country House. Drive to the end of the road and turn right. Carrygerry is on the right about a half mile down this road.
