This is a family run hostel in the centre of Corofin village. Situated at the southern gateway to the Burren just three miles from the Burren National park, perfectly located for those who wish to explore the Burren and surrounding areas.
There is accommodation for thirty people in rooms varying in size from twin to five bed rooms. Hostel can organise guided walks covering the geography, archaeology and botany in the area led by experienced guides.
Student groups a speciality and a large lecture room which has been extremely useful for such groups. This is budget accommodation at its best. Corofin Hostel offers excellent self catering facilities.

Corofin lies in the heart of the Burren with its many country roads ideal for walking and cycling. Hostel provides comprehensive maps of the area free of charge. Nothing is out of reach of a day's journey.

Caravan and Camping Site
Caravan and Camping Park is a sheltered family-run business offering the nearest camping to the Burren National Park uniquely situated in the village centre.
When you stay at Corofin Camping you can forget about your car as all the village facilities are on your doorstep. Traditional pubs, Supermarkets open from 8am until 9pm, a pharmacy, a medical centre and a library with internet access.
The camping facilities include free hot showers. There is a large camper's kitchen with free gas and free electric. There is a fridge/freezer for ice packs.
If the weather is cold you can dine indoors too.
Hostel can provide plenty of electric hook ups and picnic tables around the site.
It remains open from April to end of September.

How to get to Corofin
by air: Ryanair and Air Lingus have a large number of cheap flights.
by bus: Bus to Ennis and transfer to Corofin at 2.30 pm.
by train: Trains from Dublin to Ennis every hour. |
