Now a 3-star hotel with 140 spacious bedrooms set in 50 acres of woodlands, the original Georgian house was built on the ruins of an O'Brien castle in 1764, on the banks of the river Inagh, with a west wing added in the 1800's to house the shooting and fishing guests.
Bar & Restaurant
Falls Hotel has two restaurants, An Teach Mor and Cascades and one large bar the Dylan Thomas. The Dylan Thomas Bar (named after the Welsh poet whose wife, Ceitlin McNamara, once lived in this Manor House) and Conservatory has panoramic views of the Cascades on the River Inagh. Carvery Lunch is available daily along with snacks throughout the day. Entertainment is also featured nightly during the summer months.
The Cascades Restaurant, at the rivers edge, is open nightly and offers traditional as well as international dishes prepared from local produce with an emphasis on Seafood from the West Clare Atlantic coastline.
The Woodland suite in the hotel can cater for up to 400 people for weddings and banquets and up to 350 people for conferences.

The Aqua Fitness Club at the Falls Hotel opened in early January 2006. The Club includes a 20 metre Swimming Pool, Jacuzzi, Children Pool, Sauna, Steam Room, Bubble Pool and a Fully Equipped Gymnasium. River Spa opened in June 2006. The spa has 13 treatment rooms, including a thermal suite and relaxation room overlooking the River Inagh.

Directions
From Limerick, Shannon Airport: Take the N18 North to Ennis. In Ennis, take the first exit off the main Limerick/Galway round-a-bout (N85), heading for Lahinch. After approximately 20kms, you will arrive into Ennistymon, take the second left for the Falls Hotel.
From Galway: Take the N18 Going South. At Kilcolgan, approximately 15kms from Galway, turn right and follow signs to Ennistymon (Approximately 40kms). Once in Ennistymon, take the first turn right.
