Doorus House Youth Hostel sits on a peninsula between the bays of Galway and Kinvara at the base of the Burren Mountains and just 29 kilometres south of Galway City. There is a Blue Flag Beach 5 minutes walk from Hostel.

There is music most every night in Kinvara Village. The Hostel Manager's update guest upon check-in of the nights music and entertainment options.

Accommodation

The hostel has 56 beds in dormitory and private room accommodation. The house also offers a fully equipped self-catering kitchen, large dining area and relaxing common room with a real turf fire on the cooler Irish evenings. Warmer nights will often find people enjoying their meals at the picnic tables or playing a game of volleyball. Other features include Internet access, meeting rooms, a small shop in reception and free Irish movies in the evening.
