If you want to experience life on an Irish farm, look no further than Pot of Gold. Boasting stunning views of the McGillycuddy Reeks and the Gap of Dunloe, this farmhouse bed & breakfast has a fantastic location in the village of Beaufort, County Kerry. Inside there are six comfortable guest bedrooms (five are en suite). And of course a hearty home cooked breakfast is served every morning. The actual farm is a working beef, dairy and sheep farm and a section of the salmon rich River Laune runs at the end of the farm.
Fishing is free if you stay here and tackle and bait are also supplied. And for the kids there's a friendly donkey. If you want to go beyond the boundaries of the farm there's plenty do. It's an excellent touring base (Ring of Kerry and the Dingle Peninsula) and if you're into golf there are no less than five golf courses within 7km.
