Tara Farm

Set on 30 acres of farmland Tara Farm is an excellent choice if you want to check out life on an Irish farm. It’s situated overlooking Kenmare Bay and extends as far as the River Finnehy on one side and to Kenmare Bay on the other. There are six spacious en suite bedrooms. All are nicely decorated and come equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a television. Four of the guest rooms boast breathtaking views and have a private patio or balcony.
Each day begins with a hearty home cooked breakfast in the dining room and there’s also a guest lounge – and yes it boasts stunning views of the bay as well. This is an anglers haven with both shore angling and river fishing catered for – the farm even has its own private section of shore and boat fishing can also be arranged here. It’s also a fantastic touring base for Kerry and West Cork and if you’d like a night out on the town, Kenmare is only about 1km away.
