Sive Hostel

Sive Hostel is situated on the main street of the picturesque town of Cahirsiveen, where the hills of the ring of kerry sweep down to Dingle bay. If you're biking the Ring of Kerry and leave from Killarney, this is a great stopping place. The hostel has a sign on the east edge of town, and it is a very welcome sight. Cahersiveen is basically a one-street town, and the Sive Hostel is on your right on the eastern edge.

Balcony of hostel provides the perfect view for watching the sun set over the bay. The staff is cooperative (several old forts, castle ruins, and the architecturally odd 'barracks'), or the history (childhood home of Daniel O'Connell - 'The Liberator'!).

Hostel has en-suite private, family, double, twin and dormitory type rooms. Also on site are free hot showers, laundry facilities, fully equipped kitchen. Hostel can arrange tours to the Skellig rocks for you and provide information on the many attractions in the area.

There is no internet facility available though there's an internet cafe a few blocks away on the left.

From Farranfore airport via Castlemaine Milltown and Killorglin.
From Killarney take the N70 through kilorglin and Glenbeigh.
From Kenmare via Sneem and Waterville.
Hostel is situated at the east end of town on the main street.
