A charming little hotel describes the style and character of this unique facility set in 1.5 acres of beautifully manicured gardens. Originally built in 1838 as Archdeacon Nathaniel P. Foresters rectory, it was entirely renovated in 1990-91. It now enjoys the charm and elegance of the early 19th century hand-in-hand with the comfort and convenience at the late 20th Century

Accommodation

The Hotel has recently undergone a major renovation programme. Killeen House now comprises of 23 en-suite bedrooms. Each room is beautifully furnished and all boast their own unique characters. The rooms are fully equipped with modern amenities including satellite T.V. and telephone.

Every room has bath and shower (with super water pressure), radio, TV, 'phone and all that stuff. There are 8 of them that Geraldine and Michael built on a couple of years back - they somewhat modestly called them the 'Championship' Rooms. These are extra large and very classy.

Restaurant & Pub

Rozzers Restaurant is truly a must-visit dining experience while in Killarney and has been regarded as one of the finest in the region. Hotel's pub is renowned for good guinness -not to be missed!

As regards attractions, Killarney is second to few. Killarney is ideal for touring the scenic Southwest of Ireland. The Lakes of Killarney are on the doorstep of the hotel, while Muckross House and Torc Waterfall are less than 15 minutes away. Killeen House is also perfect for touring the Dingle Peninsula, the Ring of Kerry, the Gap of Dunloe, Beara Peninsula and for kissing the legendary Blarney Stone.
