Carton House Golf Hotel is home to two of Ireland's most acclaimed courses. The O'Meara course is a traditional parkland course while the Montgomerie course is a unique inland links course. These two courses have hosted some fine championship events like the AIB Irish Amateur Open Championship and the Nissan Irish Open.

Although the two courses are different in nature, both have one thing in common and that is the tough challenge they present to golfers of all skill levels. O'Meara is a testing challenge for the golfers with its rolling greens and the water hazard of the River Rye. Montgomerie is equally impressive with its tight fairways and fast greens.
