The Curragh has the unique distinction of being the oldest golf course in Ireland. Historical research has shown that golf was first played on this course in 1852. The golf club came into being in 1883. The golf club is proud to have a loyal membership exceeding well over 1100 members.
The practice facilities at the Curragh Golf Club are quite extensive. These include a 250 yard driving range and practice bunkers for warming up before beginning the actual game. A putting green near the first hole will help you improve your short game.
