Highfield Golf Club is regarded as one of the best parkland golf course designs in Ireland. The layout of this course was designed by Alan Duggan. Thousands of young trees were planted on the course in 1990 to enhance the visual beauty of this course. These trees have nicely complemented the already existing mature hardwood trees on the course.
Highfield Bar and Conkers Bar at the golf club are nice places for having a few stimulating drinks while the Lumberjacks Steakhouse will appeal to anyone who wants to have a fine meal after a hard day of golfing. Even accommodation is available here in the form of thirty 4-star luxurious Canadian timber lodges.
