Description: Kilkenny Golf Club can always be expected to be in tournament condition since it has been the venue of many championship events.

Kilkenny Golf Club features a beautiful 125 acre parkland golf course. The terrain of this course is mostly flat and abounds with a large number of trees. This course has hosted the Irish Dunlop Tournament, the Kilkenny Scratch Cup and is regularly used for competitions by the Golfing Union of Ireland.
The Kilkenny golf club was founded in 1896 but moved to its current location in 1923. The greens here are all sand based which ensures that golf can be played here at any time of the year. The last four holes and the 11th hole are the toughest holes of this course that have the potential to mess up a good score.
