Portarlington Golf Club features a marvellous golf course situated on mature parkland. This course measures almost six thousand metres in length. This golf club was founded way back in 1908 and began offering its services with only nine holes. The course was extended to 18 holes in 1987.
River Barrow on this course acts as a pretty ruthless water hazard and makes playing the closing holes a very tough challenge. The course is designed by renowned golf course architect Eddie Hackett who has utilized the local terrain to bring golfers an experience that they won't soon forget.
