The Heritage is a new championship course that is the fruit of the collaboration of two excellent golf course architects, Seve Ballesteros and Jeff Howes. The course is based on a beautiful rolling landscape with the spectacular views of Slieve Bloom Mountains in the background.
The water features on this course are excellent. There are no less than five lakes and a stream running through the course. These water hazards cause trouble for golfers on almost ten of the holes. Further challenge is provided by almost a hundred strategically placed bunkers and a staggering seven thousand trees.
