How to get there: From Dublin, take the N4 direction Sligo. At Carrick-on-Shannon follow the signs for Drumshanbo.
From Belfast take the M1/A4 in the direction of Dungannon and Enniskillen. Then to Blacklion, Dowra and on to Drumshanbo.
From Limerick/Shannon Airport - N18 through Ennis to Galway. Then N17 to Tuam where signs N63 to Roscommon should be followed. Roscommon-Tulsk Elphin - Carrick-on-Shannon - Drumshanbo.
BY TRAIN: A mainline train runs daily from Dublin to Carrick-on-Shannon. From there it is just a short Taxi ride to The Lough Allen Hotel & Spa.
Nearby: DRUMSHANBO - beautifully preserved traditional town with plenty of traditional pubs, live music (for which the area is famous) and small local shops.
