Limerick Golf and Country Club is the premier place in County Limerick to tee off and look forward to an energizing day filled with the excitement of truly enjoyable golf. This golf club is relatively huge in proportions and quite diverse in the facilities it offers. It is quite different from other run of the mill golf clubs in that it features a golf academy, twelve Ireland holiday cottages and seventy eight beautiful home sites. The 18-hole golf course conforms to championship standards. The sand based greens and tees present here are all built to US PGA standards, ensuring that you get to experience the most authentic game of golf possible. Ryder Cup Player Des Smyth and Irish Amateur International Declan Brannigan are the geniuses responsible for designing this spectacular course. Declan Brannigan was invited in 2004 to review the course layout. He recommended that five of the holes be redesigned. These redesigned holes became available for play in April 2005 and have played an important role in making this course a much sought after and highly reputable venue for golf in the South West region of Ireland. The driving range here features twenty covered bays where golfers can remain comfortable and oblivious to unfavourable weather. Six grass practice tees cater to the needs of an additional fifty golfers. The clubhouse is simply spectacular and Croker's Bistro located here offers some excellent food and wine.

Adare Manor Golf Club provides breathtaking golf action to golfers. This fabulous 18-hole parkland course is located very close to the spectacular five-star Adare Manor Hotel. The course owes its superior layout to the design efforts of Robert Trent Jones, Sr., widely regarded as a very famous golf course architect in the world. This illustrious course is located about twenty minutes away from Shannon Airport in the beautiful village of Adare. The two fantastic greens of the course make it one of the finest inland courses in Ireland. The water hazards of the three lakes here, including a 14 acre one, provide a golfing challenge that is sure to test the skill of any golfer. The tree-lined fairways of this course will prove to be a serious threat to the scorecard of the golfers. The Maigue River also enhances the beautiful scenery of this course and makes playing here simply a delightful treat for the golf enthusiasts. The ruins of Desmond Castle and the Franciscan Abbey lend further charm to this captivating golf course. The hospitable and friendly clubhouse provides all the facilities the golfers need to prepare for a day of stimulating golf and for relaxing and enjoying some fine drinks and food at the end of a busy day. A pro shop and hiring facilities for caddies, clubs and trolleys are available.
