Adare Golf Club is located right next to the fantastic five stars Adare Manor Hotel. This club started operations in 1995 and it is already regarded as one of the finest courses located inland in Ireland. One of the reasons for this club's claim to fame is the excellent quality of its greens.
This course was designed by the famous golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, Senior. The course features three lakes with one of them being quite large at fourteen acres. The River Maigue runs through the course and acts as a water hazard for the back nine holes.
This year they are the "Home of the Irish Open 2008 & 2009"
