Ballinrobe Golf Club started its operations in the spring of 1995. The layout of this marvellous golf course complies with championship standards. This course features eighteen demanding holes with seven of them having water hazards that will make life tough for the golfers.
This golf course is ideally located on the 300 acre Cloonacastle Estate that dates back to 1238. The course layout is the creation of famed course architect Eddie Hackett. The greens of this course are 80% sand based and designed to be playable all the year round. Located next to a 13th century tower house, the 10th hole is regarded as the signature hole of the course.
