The bright airy Riverside Restaurant overlooks the Carrowbeg River. Fresh local seafood, meat and vegetables are at the heart of our traditional cuisine. Our chef especially enjoys it when our guests provide the raw materials for their own fish dish.

Westport is unique and charming among Irish towns, as it was laid down to the plan of the prominent eighteenth-century architect, Robert Wyatt. Westport House, the home of the Marquess of Sligo, is located at the western end of the town, which is a fine Georgian Mansion on the site of an old O'Malley Castle and is open to the public daily from April to October.
