Ashbourne Golf Club started its operations in May 1993. The golf course here has been designed by renowned golf course architect Des Smyth to appeal to golfers of all skill levels. The greens on this course are purely sand based and pretty fast offering great game play.
This golf course is based on mature parkland with a great many trees and offers eighteen exciting holes. Three man made lakes and Broadmeadow River make their presence felt in the form of water hazards on nine of the eighteen holes. The 8th hole here is known for its significant challenge involving cleverly positioned bunkers.
