Esker Hills Golf Club is based on a terrain that was created over 10,000 years ago by the tremendous power of natural forces brought into motion by the subsiding of the Ice Age. Ridges of sand and gravel were formed as a result which are now called the Esker Riada. This is also where the club gets its name from.
The clever layout of this marvellous gem of a parkland course is a testament to the great course designing talents of Ryder Cup winner Christy O' Connor Jr. You will be hard pressed to find two similar holes on this 18-hole championship golf course. Plenty of water hazards and sand traps are sure to make this course a hot favourite of many golfers.
