2004 was a joyous year of celebration for Fintona Golf Club as it completed its centenary in this year. This golf club has often been described as a hidden gem. It is said to be the best nine hole golf course in its province. The golf course is based on beautiful parkland and measures more than six thousand yards.
All the holes on this golf course boast two tees so golfers can enjoy the course a second time from a different perspective and essentially get to enjoy a whole new experience of golf from the same layout. A trout stream known as the quiggery runs through the course and makes its presence felt on eight of the holes. Trees are plentiful on this course. They not only enhance the scenery but also make life difficult for the long hitters.
