Killymoon Golf Club gets its name from Killymoon Castle that was designed by John Nash in 1804. This castle is said to have been owned by King George IV who claimed it by winning a game of dice. This golf club was established in 1889. The parkland course of this golf club is renowned for its enjoyable golf experience.
The course starts with a demanding par 5 hole that borders the woods of Killymoon Castle. The tenth hole is undeniably the signature hole of this course and is named "Giant's Grave". Even seasoned golfers will have to pray for luck getting their tee shot into the narrow fairway. As always, accuracy is the key here.
