The golf course of Omagh Golf Club is split up by the Dublin Road. The eighteen holes of this course are split up into two sets of nine holes each. The lower nine holes are located along the Drumragh River, giving rise to some nice scenic views. This golf club is located just one mile from the centre of the town of Omagh.
Both low and high handicap players are going to appreciate this golf course. The 8th and 11th holes provide a real tough test for most golfers. The 17th hole is pretty notorious for ruining many good score cards. This hole is quite narrow and there is a huge tree that protects the green and poses a serious threat for the golfers. To make matters worse, golfers will also have to contend with cleverly placed bunkers.
