Goldcoast Golf Club is unique in that it is a parkland golf course located by the sea. It is bordered by the Atlantic Ocean. The views of the Comeragh and Dungarvan Mountains visible from here are quite breathtaking. The old course features fairways with mature trees while the new course boasts long and challenging holes.
The tee shot on the 15th hole requires quite a bit of concentration and patience. The new holes in particular require some powerful shots in order to reach the green. The old holes date back to 1939 when they were laid down. The 18th hole is a monster of a hole due to its long length and serves as a great finishing hole.
