Tramore Golf Club began serving the golf community in 1894. However, it moved to its present location in 1939. Captain Tippet of Walton Heath took maximum advantage of the natural features of the slightly rolling terrain in designing this course. His hard work has largely paid off in the form of a magnificent 18-hole championship golf course that will confront golfers with a formidable challenge.
Tramore golf course is located near the town of Tramore which is a very popular seaside resort and tourist attraction. There are two streams running horizontally through the fairways that serve to aggravate golfers of all skill levels. These water hazards have the potential to ruin an otherwise respectable score. The 17th hole here is regarded as the best hole of this course.
