Moate Golf Club was founded at the beginning of the twentieth century. The club was relocated to its present location in 1940. At this time, it was a thriving nine hole course. The year of 1993 saw the extension of holes at this golf course from nine to eighteen. This golf club is quite notable for the friendliness of its members.
The rolling parkland landscape of this golf course throws a variety of challenges at the golfers to keep them on their toes. Both beginners and seasoned players will appreciate this tough test of golf. The front nine holes of the course are considerably more difficult than the back nine.
