Rosslare Golf Club is a great place to enjoy some thrilling golf action in County Wexford. This 18-hole championship golf links course is one of its kind in southeast Ireland. Many tournaments have been played here that have demonstrated the championship qualities of this splendid links course. This golf course is located in the sunniest part of Ireland. The course is located by the Irish Sea and was designed by Hawtree and Taylor. Visiting golfers can generally participate in the club competitions here. There is a practice ground here so the players can warm up or improve their skills. The clubhouse has a snooker table and a sauna for the benefit and enjoyment of the visitors and members. Nine new holes were added to this course in 1992. The total 27 holes at this course prove to be an exciting challenge for golf enthusiasts all through the year. The course has a watering system installed that ensures that the course remains playable during the summer. The 5th and 11th holes of the course are outstanding. The 15th, 16th and 17th holes are very demanding and require exceptional skill, precision and accuracy to negotiate with success.

It specifically takes advantage of the onshore winds to provide a challenging game of golf. Nine water hazards and several strategically positioned bunkers complicate matters for the golfers. Five thousand trees on this course ensure that careless shots are punished. Full catering facilities are available here. Buggy, trolley and club hire are also offered. Tennis courts are present on the premises for the benefit and entertainment of the visitors.
