Arklow Golf Club was established way back in 1927. Ever since its inception, it has been providing a warm and friendly ambience for golfers. This traditional links golf course was designed by Hawtree and Taylor. It was later refined by Eddie Hackett and E.B. Connaughton. This course is often described as a hidden gem and has been the proud host of the 2001 and 2002 PGA championships.
This eighteen hole links course features tempting holes, tricky sand warrens, intimidating bunkers and generously large greens. This seaside links course possesses ample beauty to hold the golfers in a trance while they enjoy its fabulous golf facilities. Accuracy is rewarded generously on this course. The last four holes are longer than the rest of the holes and can pose problems for the uninitiated.
