Baltinglass Golf Club was founded in 1928. This golf course originally had nine holes. The golf course has recently been upgraded to eighteen holes. This extension of holes has enhanced an already superb golf experience available at this golf club. Baltinglass golf club is located in the heart of what is known as the Ryder Cup Region of Ireland.
Baltinglass golf course is located on the banks of the River Slaney. The ruins of a Cistercian Abbey can be found on the landscape of this golf course. This golf course is quite picturesque and affords splendid views of the Wicklow Mountains. The rolling fairways are immaculate and the superb greens are known for being excellent for putting.
