Delgany Golf Club came into being in 1908. It is located just half an hour’s drive from Dublin and is perfectly suited as an exciting golf destination for the tourists visiting Ireland’s premier city. The countryside around this golf course is spectacularly beautiful to say the least.
The golf course here was originally crafted by Harry Vardon. The sand based greens and tees of this course were later upgraded to USGA specifications through the work of Patrick Merrigan. This golf club enjoys a venerable reputation and is the only club in the world to have produced four Ryder Cup players. The 12th hole of this course is unique in that it does not feature a bunker but still proves to be quite challenging.
