Glen of the Downs Golf Club features an elegantly crafted parkland golf course designed by Peter McEvoy. This golf course measures more than sixty four hundred yards in length. It has been designed in tandem with the strict guidelines of the USGA with top quality tees and greens derived from sand. The 8th, 9th and 10th holes are quite popular among the visitors here. The finishing hole can prove to be a source of headache for the careless and sloppy golfers.

Peter McEvoy is particularly proud of the set of par 3’s he has developed on this golf course and calls them the best ever. The greens are pleasantly undulating and there are almost ninety bunkers here that will pose a serious threat to the golfers’ quest for supremacy. The breathtaking views of the Wicklow Mountains and the Irish Sea on this marvellous landscape led McEvoy to describe this site as a designer’s dream.
