Established since 1936, McAllisters has developed into three separate drinking and eating emporia. The entire place has a distinctive 'horsey' theme with many pictures and souvenirs of the great racing heroes of the past. The lounge and greenhouse areas are packed every day at lunchtime with people from near and far enjoying the excellent, varied cuisine which McAllister offers.
McAllisters is not only one of the most popular in the area but is in itself a treasure house for 1798 tradition and artefacts. Most importantly, the food is great, the price is right and the staffs are friendly and accommodating. So, whenever you decide to go here, you are sure to meet good characters, enjoy the best of food and drink and most significantly, have a good craic.
